Chapter President

Paul Griffith

Paul Griffith is the Founder of Over The Edge Global, a special events company that provides thrilling urban rappelling experiences throughout North America, Europe and New Zealand. With a background in adventure sport, this international philanthropist has helped not-for-profits raise over $100 million in the fall of 2019. A social entrepreneur who knows no box, Paul and his team have created a niche fundraising category where one did not exist, growing the company from a one-off local event and expanding it internationally. His exceptional vision and keen sense of process propelled Over The Edge Global forward shattering their internal goals. Under Paul’s leadership and vision, Over The Edge Global has been able to remain true to its values and mission while establishing a profitable company that employs approximately 100 full, part-time and casual employees throughout the world. Global operations are based in Halifax, Nova Scotia, where he lives part of the year. With a thirst for knowledge and personal growth, Paul continues his education both formally and through the networks he engages.

Paul joined the EO in 2017 and began his Presidency in 2021. He has held numerous roles both locally and nationally including the Canadian GSEA Expert. Paul’s passion is giving back to the communities in which he works, lives, and plays.
